Role Overview

The Performance Marketing Manager is accountable for the strategic success, operational delivery, and performance outcomes of all paid advertising and UI/UX design initiatives. This includes guiding UI/UX designers, ensuring campaign quality and on-time execution, and coordinating closely with other internal and client-side stakeholders. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, client satisfaction, and continuous optimization of conversion outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy, Planning & Client Success
  • Develop full-funnel paid media strategies tailored to client goals (ROAS, CPL, lead quality, brand visibility).
  • Define channel mix, audience segmentation, budget allocation, and messaging frameworks across Google Ads (Search, PMax, Display), Meta, TikTok, LSA, and more.
  • Maintain strategy blueprints and campaign playbooks for each agency/client.
  • Campaign & Execution Oversight
  • Create and Oversee campaign builds, ad copy, creative asset selection, audience targeting, and budget pacing.
  • Design and run A/B tests for ad creatives, targeting, bidding, and landing pages
  • Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis
  • Ensure proper implementation of GA4, GTM, conversion tracking, and attribution models.
  • Review optimization logs and performance reports; guide Paid Ads Executives on course corrections.
  • Validate QA for campaign setup, targeting hygiene, UTM tagging, and platform compliance.
  • UX, Creatives & CRO
  • Guide UI/UX designers on landing page layout, mobile-first design, and conversion-focused components.
  • Review and approve wireframes, prototypes, banners, ad creatives, and other design assets.
  • Suggest A/B testing ideas for pages and creatives; track performance uplift and share insights.
  • Provide detailed CRO suggestions to web developers on layout, speed, form UX, visual hierarchy, and responsive behavior based on analytics and campaign feedback.
  • Suggest improvements to copywriters to enhance conversion-focused messaging across ads and landing pages.
  • Communication & Escalation Handling
  • Act as the single point for campaign delays, performance drops, or client feedback.
  • Ensure proactive, client-aligned communication by all team members across Slack, email, and task updates.
  • Join key planning, and quarterly review calls to reinforce strategy and delivery leadership.
  • Translate performance data into actionable narratives and share optimization plans with clients.
  • Reporting & Performance Monitoring
  • Oversee weekly and monthly reporting dashboards (Looker Studio or platform-native), ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Validate reported metrics align with campaign goals and support optimization recommendations.
  • Track and report campaign KPIs, creative performance, CRO impact, and design delivery timelines.
  • Conduct quarterly retrospectives to analyze performance trends and improve future planning.
  • Training, Tools & Innovation
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions on Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok updates, and platform policies.
  • Encourage the use of AI tools like AdCreative.ai, ChatGPT, Jasper, etc. for copywriting and creative production.
  • Stay updated on CRO best practices, UX standards, and ad platform trends; cascade updates to the team.
  • Maintain internal knowledge base, onboarding documents, and design/campaign templates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in running ROI-focused campaigns on Google & Meta platforms
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign structures, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking
  • Proficient in using Google Ads Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of eCommerce metrics (ROAS, LTV, CAC, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and accountability

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Canva, etc.
  • Knowledge of UTM tracking, GA4, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio (Data Studio)
  • Experience in landing page CRO and funnel optimization
  • Capability to manage modest budgets and scale efficiently
