Speciality Chemicals

The Specialty Chemical business of Jubilant Ingrevia manufactures Pyridine, Picolines and its forward integration derivatives, which finds application in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, solvents, metal finishes, fine chemicals, semiconductors etc.We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. Job Summary
:
Lead the ESG and EHS data management function, driving the execution of a comprehensive, company-wide strategic EHS&S initiative that integrates safety and sustainability data across all business units. Ensure the EHS management system and data governance processes are continuously improved to enhance operational performance and support the long-term strategic goals of the enterprise. This role is a key part of the EHS leadership team, contributing to decision-making, planning, and alignment of EHS efforts with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
:
- ESG Data Management Strategy and Planning
- Lead the effort to maintain and continuously improve a process for the company to establishes as a global leader in ESG.
- Identify and prioritize areas for institutional Safety, Occupational Health, Environment and Sustainability metrics and recommend strategies to the EHS leadership for proactively addressing relevant opportunities.
- Keep abreast of best practices in Data Management and participate in related internal or external events to identify new ideas and practices.
- Prepare and manage the ESG Data Management budget – Opex and Capex.
- Will be able to demonstrate strong presentation skills via tools (MS PowerPoint), verbal and written with Senior Management.
- Demonstrate high integrity on Data Management of ESG.
- EHS Program Management
- Lead cross-departmental teams to engage employees in ESG.
- Develop with EHS&S LT to, manage and analyze Safety Lead & Lag Indicators
- Develop, manage and analyze with Head of Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene on Occupational Health Lead & Lag indicators
- Develop with Head of ESG and Sustainability, manage and analyze energy, waste and waste assessments.
- Research and explore new software’s around Safety, Occupational Health, waste, water, energy and GHG emissions quantification for Scope 1/2/3.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and provide assistance to departments in identifying and implementing data management policies/practices.
- Continuously measure and monitor progress against EHS&S strategies, objectives and performance targets.
- Generate Monthly reports for EHS&S KPIs and coordinate with sites to ensure the monthly activity is closed by 08th of each month.
- Coordinate with EHS&S LT to ensure the EHS&S data in the Integrated Report from Natural Capital and Human Capital is audited via the external audit partner and submitted.
- Is responsible for application and coordination of External Awards and Recognitions for EHS&S.
- Ensures the EHS Assessments and Audits are recorded in the system and tracked site wise.
- Coordinating with EHS&S data Management system partners to develop a sustainable relationship and troubleshoot any related or ancillary issuesand performance targets
- Planning and Strategy
- Develops short- and long-term planning and budgeting.
- Establishes and maintains information systems with internal and external stakeholders to communicate key directives and other items related to EHS efforts.
- Performs in an advisory capacity to the SCM and community.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Responsible for the adherence of all locations to policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standards. They perform regular audits, design control systems and help to design and implement company policies.
- Ensure that all Environment, Health & Safety amendments of policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
The Person
- Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- 12+ years of Data Analysis and Management experience. EHS&S experience in Chemical /Pharmaceutical/Oil & Gas / CPG/ FMCG in a plus.
- Minimal Post grad (MBA, MS, MTech, MSc) in Eng. / Commerce / Data management shall be preferred.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Interfacing with all stakeholders on the subject of EHS & Sustainability.
- Search and apply for EHS&S-related certifications, awards and speaking engagements that will communicate company achievements and leadership in EHS&S.
