Manager - Safety

We are looking for a dynamic Manager EHS to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives for a high-rise residential construction project. The role involves designing and implementing EHS policies, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and contractors. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, safety audits, training sessions, and incident investigations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership to reduce hazards, enforce sustainable practices, and maintain a safe workplace throughout the project lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure HSSE implementation on-site in line with BOCW Act and state regulations.
• Review and evaluate EHS programs, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement control measures.
• Develop and monitor safety management plans and safe work systems to ensure compliance.
• Oversee contractors adherence to safety requirements, safe work practices, and engagement conditions.
• Engage qualified personnel to meet project safety performance goals.
• Provide training and guidance to vendors and contractors to build competency, ensure compliance, and maintain safety standards.
• Foster employee participation in developing and promoting safe work systems.
• Review emergency preparedness and contingency plans regularly to ensure readiness.
