Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Lead to manage and mentor a team of 8–10 inside sales professionals while driving lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management in the logistics, supply chain, and SaaS technology solutions space. This role will be responsible not only for achieving individual sales targets, but also for building team capability, ensuring target achievement, and aligning team efforts with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading high-performing sales teams, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in the SaaS industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 8 to 10 inside sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews to track progress and resolve challenges.
  • Provide training, guidance, and motivation to build a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Ensure adherence to sales processes, discipline in CRM usage, and best practices across the team.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution

    : Define team targets and ensure achievement of KPIs across lead generation, outreach, and pipeline development. Oversee team execution of outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and customer engagement. Monitor call quality, email outreach, and lead qualification standards to maintain consistency. Support the team in high-value client calls, negotiations, and closures when required.
  • Performance Management & Reporting

    : Track sales performance metrics and provide timely reports on team and individual achievements. Implement dashboards, productivity trackers, and pipeline review mechanisms for transparency. Drive accountability within the team to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

    : Act as the bridge between inside sales, marketing, and field sales teams to ensure aligned campaigns and smooth lead handovers. Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback with product/marketing for strategy improvements.
  • Market & Industry Understanding

    : Stay updated on logistics, supply chain, and SaaS technology trends (TMS, WMS, route optimization, fleet management, etc.). Guide the team in positioning solutions effectively to logistics managers, supply chain directors, and IT decision-makers.


Job Specification (What Will You Need)

  • 8+ years of B2B inside sales experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in managing a sales team (6-8 members).
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or SaaS technology sales preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team management and coaching skills. Ability to inspire, develop, and retain talent in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Sales & Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline management, and prospecting strategies. Exposure to logistics technology solutions (TMS, WMS, etc.) Will be an advantage.
  • Tools & Competencies: Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Goal-oriented, data-driven, and strategic mindset.
