Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad and Mysore produce over 5 lakh smart electricity meters per month. Position Summary The Manager – Finance will serve as a key member of the Finance team, responsible for managing core financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The role requires strong domain expertise, hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to collaborate across departments and geographies to drive financial performance and efficiency. Position Details Job Title: Manager – Finance Location: Corporate Office, Kolkata Reports To: Head – Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Key Responsibilities Lead accurate and timely closing of books, financial statements, and MIS reports in line with Indian GAAP/Ind AS. Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets Management. Manage direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and support assessments, refunds, and audits. Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for business units and functions. Conduct costing analysis, inventory valuation, and margin analysis for manufacturing operations. Support contract reviews, commercial negotiations, and pricing decisions from a finance perspective. Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, internal controls, and ERP usage. Coordinate with auditors (statutory, internal, GST, income tax) to ensure successful audits and adherence to regulatory norms. Contribute to financial due diligence, project evaluations, investor reporting, and business expansion initiatives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/year-end closings. Zero non-compliance in tax, regulatory, and statutory audits. Variance of actual vs. budgeted costs kept within defined thresholds. Audit closure within defined timelines without major observations. Reduction in working capital cycle and overdue receivables. Process automation initiatives and ERP improvement execution. Cost savings identified and implemented through financial analysis. Quality and timeliness of business decision support provided to leadership. Qualifications & Experience β€’ Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) is mandatory. β€’ Minimum 6–10 years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing, EMS, or infrastructure sectors. β€’ Hands-on expertise in accounting standards, tax regulations, financial reporting, and internal controls. β€’ Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to partner with business functions. β€’ Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel proficiency. β€’ Experience working with international operations, multi-currency accounting, and transfer pricing will be a strong advantage.
