About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design & Estimation Engineer specializing in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with a key focus on government and private tenders across India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of engineering design principles, cost estimation, and bid preparation processes to create technically and commercially competitive proposals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or related field (Diploma with strong experience will also be considered). 3–7 years of hands-on experience in solar/BESS design, estimation, and tendering. Proficiency in engineering tools: AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, etc. Strong knowledge of electrical design standards (IS/IEC), codes, and safety regulations. Familiarity with government e-tendering platforms (GeM, NTPC, SECI, State DISCOM portals, etc.) is highly preferred. Excellent Excel and MS Project/Word skills for estimation and documentation. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Experience in handling tenders with SECI, NTPC, PGCIL, NLC, State Nodal Agencies, and industrial clients. Exposure to hybrid systems, grid-connected/off-grid systems, and BESS sizing. Working knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX models. Compensation: 6 to 6.5 lakhs CTC per Annum Travel and business development expenses reimbursed. Performance-based growth opportunities.
