Channel Business Development Manager


 

Responsibilities

Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners

  • Drive overall channel sales strategy

    to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Establish and manage strong relationships

    with VARs, distributors, resellers, MSPs, and consulting partners.
  • Conduct regular partner performance reviews

    to evaluate pipeline, forecast accuracy, and deal progress.
  • Create and implement partner enablement programs

    , including training, certification, and sales readiness.
  • Ensure accurate partner registration, documentation, and compliance

    with company policies and pricing guidelines.
  • Support partners with product demos, proposal preparation, and customer presentations

    for key opportunities.
  • Monitor partner pipeline and drive lead generation activities

    , ensuring daily outbound efforts and timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Pre-sales, Delivery)

    to support partner activities and close deals.
  • Develop region-wise GTM plans

    to improve partner penetration and market share.
  • Maintain regular reporting and pipeline visibility

    through CRM, ensuring all partner interactions are documented.
  • Drive partner marketing campaigns

    , events, webinars, and co-branded activities to boost engagement.
  • Resolve partner escalations

    and provide timely support to maintain high partner satisfaction.
  • Ensure strict governance on pricing, discount approvals, and deal registration

    to avoid channel conflicts.
  • Continuously analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and partner landscape

    to recommend strategic improvements.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–12 years of proven experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development.
  • Experience in

    Cybersecurity / SaaS / IT Solutions

    is strongly preferred.
  • Strong network of VARs, distributors, and system integrators across India / GCC / APAC (as applicable).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to independently drive results in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and partner management dashboards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
