Job Description

The BDM will lead IT infrastructure sales initiatives, focusing on generating and engaging with end government, global, mid-market, and OEM business partners. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and developing and executing strategic sales plans. The role requires in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure solutions, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Account Management: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the government, global, mid-market, and OEM segments. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders in assigned accounts. Develop a deep understanding of client needs and challenges and propose tailored IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and other related services. Lead the sales process from initial engagement to deal closure, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing profitability. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand market reach. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies. Utilize CRM software and sales analytics platforms to track sales performance, generate reports, and forecast future sales. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure a seamless sales process and successful service delivery. Solutions Sales & Technical Acumen: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, showcasing the value and benefits of IT infrastructure offerings. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure new business and maintain profitable client relationships.  Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in IT infrastructure sales, with a focus on servers, storage, and solutions sales. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies and achieve revenue targets. Strong understanding of government procurement processes, RFP lifecycle, and vendor empanelment procedures (especially relevant for government sales). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics platforms. Ability to think critically, make informed decisions, and develop business plans. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Experience building relationships with key decision-makers in government and enterprise organizations.  Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Negotiation and persuasion Sales strategy development and execution Market research and analysis CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) Problem-solving and decision-making Strategic thinking Leadership and mentoring (if applicable to team leadership)  Work Environment: This role may involve a mix of office-based work and travel to client locations for meetings and presentations.  Compensation: Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives and bonuses.
