About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Finance Operations & Compliances to support our finance function across accounting operations, statutory compliances, and internal control processes in US, India, and preferably UAE. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial operations, adherence to compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions, and supporting audits and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with ERP/accounting tools such as Zoho and QuickBooks, and the ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

What You Will Do

Finance Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts
Receivable, and General Ledger management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in line with US GAAP, Ind-
AS/IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
  • Monitor cash flows, expense tracking, and vendor/customer payments.
  • Manage inter-company reconciliations and support transfer pricing compliance across geographies.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across India (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC,
Corporate Tax), UAE (VAT, labor compliance), and US (sales tax, payroll,
federal/state filings).
  • Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits across regions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and assess impact on
operations.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns and reports within defined timelines.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and investor reporting packs.
  • Provide variance analysis and support budgeting/forecasting processes.
  • Develop presentations and reports for leadership review using Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Work with accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, or equivalent ERP) to
streamline processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Document standard operating procedures and ensure adherence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance operations and compliance (global exposure across US/India/UAE preferred).
  • Strong accounting knowledge with understanding of GAAP, Ind-AS/IFRS, and
compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in Zoho Books/Zoho Finance, QuickBooks Online (QBo);
exposure to other ERPs a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with advanced spreadsheet/reporting skills.
  • Experience in handling audits, tax filings, and statutory returns across multiple
jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
