Role Objective
- Drive rapid acceleration of Brand BSOUL’s onboarding, margin closure, sales growth, and business scaling across India’s leading e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, with direct accountability for SKU and code management, sales tracking, and competitor analysis.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Onboarding & Network Building:
Fast-track brand and SKU onboarding across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Zepto, Big Basket, Flipkart Minutes, Jio Mart, Ajio, and Tata Cliq. Utilise deep contacts within platform teams to expedite go-live and maximise commercial terms.
Sales, Pricing & Business Scaling:
- Own and manage all sales trackers—SKU codes, MRP, Selling Price (SP), EAN/barcodes, margin calculations, and promotion mapping.
- Drive and track daily/weekly sales targets, stock movement, and rank progress for Amazon and other priority platforms.
- Continuously monitor SKU performance; recommend delistings, launches, and pricing moves to ensure growth and profitability.
Margin Negotiation & Commercial Management:
- Lead all margin discussions with platform buyers/category teams to ensure the lowest possible commission rates and fees.
- Model pricing and promotional impacts across all channels; optimise for profit and volume.
Competitor & Market Analysis:
- Deploy advanced competitor monitoring tools (e.g. Helium 10, Jungle Scout) to track pricing, margins, sales rank, reviews, and trends.
- Regularly analyse competitor assortment, SP/MRP/discount structures, EAN codes, and market-share movements; react with action plans.
Tracker Setup & Data Ownership:
- Own and maintain trackers/spreadsheets detailing SKU codes, MRP, SP, cost, EAN/UPC codes, platform fees, and monthly margin reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timely updates with all new product launches, promotions, or changes.
Relationship Management:
- Work closely with vendor managers, category heads, and buyer contacts to maintain preferential status and quick access on every platform.
- Secure additional visibility opportunities: top banners, premium listings, sponsored content.
- Business Scaling & Growth:
- Propose and execute business strategies for rapid scaling—new SKU launch plans, pan-India offers, bundle deals, and influencer seeding.
Skills & Qualifications
Strategic & Commercial Acumen
- Strong understanding of category growth levers, consumer behaviour, and market trends to shape data-backed strategies.
- Proven expertise in margin optimisation, pricing strategy, cost structures, and full category P&L ownership.
- Sharp commercial awareness to negotiate favourable platform terms, manage procurement risks, and deliver profit-driven outcomes.
Sales Growth & Performance Management
- Experience in sales forecasting, GMV growth, inventory sell-through, and pricing optimisation across major marketplaces.
- Skilled in promotion modelling, rank tracking, and conversion funnel analysis to accelerate platform performance.
- Demonstrated success in scaling SKUs and driving category visibility through targeted launches and offers.
E-commerce & Platform Expertise
- Hands-on with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Meesho Supplier Hub, Shopify, Zepto.
- Advanced knowledge of listing optimisation, SEO keywords, and trend forecasting for improved discoverability.
- Familiar with A+ content, campaign placements, and ad performance tracking across marketplaces.
Data Analytics & Tech Tools
- Proficiency with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SellerApp, Keepa, and DataHawk for competitive intelligence and insights.
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, dashboards, automation) and data visualisation tools like Power BI, Google Data Studio, and Tableau.
- Experience using automation tools (Zapier, AppScript) to streamline reporting and analytics workflows.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Effective in cross-functional coordination with marketing, finance, supply chain, and creative teams to achieve unified business goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to influence category heads, vendors, and leadership.
- Experience managing interns or small teams, ensuring accountability, timely execution, and performance tracking.
