Assistant Category Manager

As an Assistant Manager Category (Accessories) for a leading fashion e-commerce platform, your role will involve driving category growth, performance, and enhancing customer experience. You will be responsible for end-to-end category ownership, including sales planning, brand performance management, and customer retention strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and track plans to enhance category KPIs such as conversion, AOV, and traffic - Deliver top-line revenue within approved budgets to meet P&L goals - Manage on-site content to support monthly & seasonal promotions and overall marketing strategy - Secure margins in line with business objectives - Negotiate budgets, set goals, and report performance metrics - Plan & execute brand campaigns across platforms; take corrective actions where needed - Drive banner revenue through list growth, segmentation & optimization - Build processes to enhance customer retention - Analyze user experience across touchpoints using web analytics and identify improvement opportunities Qualifications Required: - 46 years of experience in Category Management / E-commerce - Strong experience with Excel & PowerPoint (Advanced) - Ability to manage category P&L, brand relationships, and sales strategies Preferred Skills: - Prior experience in Accessories or related fashion categories - Strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, and planning capability If you are ready to build and scale high-performing categories, and have a passion for driving sales, improving customer experience, and monitoring brand performance, this role is for you!
