Assistant Category Manager

As an Assistant Category Manager at the company, your primary role will be to support the development of the category by assisting with category analysis, insight, and reporting. This involves maintaining the category reporting toolkit and setting up other best practice reports. You will also be involved in supporting category plans and new product launches. Analyzing data and consumer trends to devise long-term development strategies for product categories will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility using appropriate reports. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development of the category by providing category analysis, insight, and reporting - Maintain the category reporting toolkit and set up best practice reports - Assist in supporting category plans and new product launches - Analyze data and consumer trends to devise long-term development strategies - Determine product category positioning for maximum visibility - Liaise with Key Account Managers of Swiggy and Zomato for better deals and overall sales management - Develop budgets and revenue forecasts for the category - Assist the Category Manager in achieving overall category goals Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in a related field/domain - Solid knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles - Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods - Proficiency in MS Office - Analytical mindset with a strategic ability - Excellent communication and people skills If you are interested in this position, please note that the compensation is preferably 3.6 LPA.
