Assistant Category Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities: Supporting the development of category. Supporting with Category analysis, insight and reporting by maintaining the category reporting toolkit and setting up other best practice reports. Supporting Category Plans, and New product Launch. Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends. Supporting devise long-term development strategies for product categories. Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility using appropriate reports. Liaise with KAM of Swiggy and Zomato for better deals and managing overall sales. Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category. Assist Category Manager in managing overall Category Goal. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in related field/domain. Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods. Proficient in MS Office. An analytical mind with a strategic ability. Excellent communication and people skills Compensation: Preferably 3.6 LPA. Experience: 1.5- 2 years Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing or related field. MBA Preferred.
