Assistant Category Manager

You will play a crucial role in building and growing the business for Little Joys with a focus on customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: - **Customer obsession & insight**: - Maintain a deep understanding of consumer behavior, triggers, barriers, and trends. - Translate customer insights into product and communication propositions to build emotional trust and customer loyalty. - Promote a consumer-first mindset across product, marketing, and operations. - **Customer experience & NPS**: - Design and implement initiatives to enhance Net Promoter Score (NPS) and repeat purchase rates. - Identify and address experience breakpoints to improve onboarding, delivery, and support processes. - Establish rapid-learning loops to address low NPS feedback promptly and measure the impact of improvements. - **Growth & product portfolio**: - Optimize acquisition and retention funnels with a focus on customer satisfaction. - Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling advertising creatives and messaging. - Develop a high hit-rate product pipeline based on customer insights and feedback. - **Cross-functional delivery & culture**: - Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to implement customer insights into actionable changes. - Build tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor and improve customer health metrics across the organization. - **Performance & continuous improvement**: - Prioritize initiatives based on their impact on NPS, retention, and return on investment. - Stay updated on market trends, competitor experiences, and best practices to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance. **Qualifications & expectations**: - 2 years of relevant experience in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) or e-commerce, with a preference for category and brand building. - Strong consumer-first thinking, capable of converting insights into actionable strategies and compelling narratives. - Proficient in analytics, data interpretation, and experimentation. - Proven ability to take ownership, drive results, and thrive in dynamic environments. - Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively and foster cross-team alignment.,
