As an MIS Controller based in Mumbai-Kalwa-TR, you will be taking on a challenging role with the following responsibilities: - Preparation of close estimate templates, participation in monthly close review calls, conducting deviation analysis, and compiling monthly and quarterly close summaries. - Designing BRM / OP CO / JF templates for forecasting, engaging in OPCO forecast calls, and supporting forecast consolidation tasks in readiness for BU forecast review calls. - Ensuring an efficient and detailed budgeting and forecasting process, challenging stakeholders at various stages. - Cost controlling for functional costs such as SG&A, COGS, Order controlling, People cost, etc. - Coordinating external/internal audits, ensuring adherence to risk and internal control processes, and managing transfer pricing audits. - Handling and preparing key reporting on a monthly/quarterly basis, acting as the key point of contact for segment HQ for detailed analysis/MIS on forecast variance, overdue, and other KPIs. - Preparation for periodic meetings/updates with segment and BU management. - Maintaining a clean balance sheet through thorough review and cleanup. - Driving digitalization initiatives/ideas for smarter reporting, process improvement, and productivity enhancement. - Leading special projects as required, and overseeing SAP and other re-org related changes. - Ensuring compliance with all internal/external rules & regulations like ICFR, SFRG, Tax, ECC, hedging, etc. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A bachelor's degree in commerce or business management with 6 to 8 years of experience OR an MBA/CA/ICWA with 3-5 years of experience. - Solid understanding of accounting topics with exposure to Financial Planning, Budgeting, etc. - Strong experience in Finance & Controlling. - Excellent analytical, communication, Microsoft Excel, and presentation skills. - Willingness to explore new tools/horizons, innovate, and act as a business enabler. - Positive attitude, resilience in the face of challenges, and a never-give-up mindset. - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and experience in analysis using AI tools.
