JOB TITLE: Logistics Executive – International Shipping (India to US & Global) ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive to manage and oversee end-to-end shipping and logistics operations for international shipments, primarily from India to the US and other global destinations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth import-export processes while maintaining full compliance with international trade regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and coordinate the end-to-end import and export processes of goods across countries, especially from India to the US. Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all international shipments including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and bills of lading. Maintain strict compliance with all relevant customs regulations and government trade requirements. Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHAs (Customs House Agents), and other key stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient shipments. Negotiate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to secure cost-effective rates and ensure reliable service levels. Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any issues or delays. Evaluate import-export operations regularly and identify areas for efficiency and cost improvements. Maintain accurate records and prepare regular logistics reports as required. Support other logistics and operational activities as needed, based on business requirements. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in international logistics or shipping operations. Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, documentation, and customs compliance. Experience working with freight forwarders and CHAs. Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and logistics management tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in handling US-bound shipments. Familiarity with global freight marketplaces or logistics software. Understanding of duty structure, Incoterms, and HS codes. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with additional experience in e-commerce being an advantage. The role requires thorough knowledge of debtors reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and B2B (Business-to-Business) accounting practices. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collections and accurate reporting. Perform debtor reconciliation and ledger reconciliation on a regular basis. Process invoices, verify financial data for accuracy, and ensure compliance with company policies. Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
