About the Role

We are seeking a Manager – Trade Sales to lead client acquisition and growth across exporters, importers, and corporates who rely on Trade Pe for their cross-border trade needs. This role is at the frontline of scaling Trade Pe’s platform, driving adoption of our global payments infrastructure, trade banking services, and digital integrations.


You will own the end-to-end client lifecycle: identifying and onboarding exporters, ensuring compliance, deepening usage of Trade Pe’s solutions, and building long-term relationships that maximize wallet share.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Source and onboard exporters, importers, and corporates onto Trade Pe’s global trade platform through direct outreach, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Product Sales & Advisory: Position Trade Pe’s solutions — global collections, outward remittances, FX, guarantees, and trade integrations — to meet client needs across working capital cycles, risk mitigation, and compliance.
  • Platform Adoption: Drive engagement and transaction volumes by ensuring clients leverage Trade Pe’s trade banking stack, APIs, and integrations for seamless operations.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve sales and wallet-share targets by cross-selling multiple trade corridors, FX flows, and payment services.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure onboarding and ongoing transactions meet FEMA, RBI, and TBML guidelines; coordinate with compliance teams for due diligence, EDPMS/IDPMS alignment, and documentation accuracy.
  • Market Development: Represent Trade Pe at exporter associations, trade bodies, and industry events to strengthen brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with product and tech teams to relay client feedback, influence roadmap priorities, and enhance customer experience.


Must-Have Skills

  • 4–7 years of experience in trade finance, forex sales, or fintech-led cross-border payments.
  • Strong understanding of export/import products, remittances, FX flows, and guarantees.
  • Familiarity with FEMA, RBI regulations, and trade-based money laundering (TBML) risk frameworks.
  • Proven track record of B2B client acquisition and revenue delivery in exporters/importers/MSME or corporate segments.
  • Excellent relationship management, consultative sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced fintech environment, balancing compliance with growth.


Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience with fintech platforms, APIs, or trade tool integrations.
  • Exposure to supply chain finance, cash management, or transaction banking products.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and pipeline management.
