This platform will power critical functions such as valuation, settlements, NAV calculations, reconciliations, reporting, and integrations with multiple financial vendors and market participants.The role requires deep collaboration with engineering, investment operations, finance, and compliance teams to modernize legacy systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and build scalable, audit-ready financial infrastructure across domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Architecture
- Define and evolve the long-term architecture for a modern fund and portfolio management platform supporting global financial instruments, exchanges, and reference data.
- Shape platform capabilities for discretionary portfolio management, automated allocation logic, and multi-currency workflows.
Legacy Modernization & Migration
- Lead phased migration from legacy platforms while ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and minimal operational disruption.
- Redesign legacy workflows to improve system efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Integrations & Partner Management
- Own integrations with brokers, custodians, fund houses, banks, corporate action providers, and market-data vendors.
- Define API contracts, data flows, and operational workflows with external partners and internal engineering teams.
Investment & Operations Enablement
- Build internal tools and workflows to support investment operations, portfolio operations, finance, and reconciliation teams.
- Deeply understand operational processes including NAV calculations, settlements, cash movements, exceptions, and reconciliations.
- Enable systems for corporate action processing and accurate downstream impact on portfolios and reporting.
Compliance, Risk & Auditability
- Ensure platform auditability, traceability, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Support automated compliance and risk-based scenario analysis frameworks to protect client interests and meet regulatory expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data, Ops, Finance, Compliance, and Investment teams across markets.
- Translate complex financial and operational workflows into clear, well-structured product requirements, documentation, and system diagrams.
- Collaborate on system state models, logs, reconciliation pipelines, and rollback strategies.
Strategic Communication
- Communicate complex technical and financial concepts clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Align product initiatives with fiduciary responsibilities, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in Product Management within fintech, banking, or financial services, with a strong platform or systems focus.
- Solid understanding of backend financial workflows such as custody, settlements, trading operations, reconciliations, and portfolio accounting.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience working closely with engineering on architecture, APIs, data models, and system design.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills (PRDs, system diagrams, workflow documentation).
Nice to Have
- Experience in wealth management, brokerage, or investment operations platforms.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting, audit-heavy systems, or compliance-driven products.
- Hands-on experience modernizing or migrating legacy financial systems.
- Knowledge of pre-trade analytics, security pricing, risk attribution, and portfolio performance reporting.
- Strong business acumen, including experience aligning product pricing with fiduciary-friendly fee structures.
- Deep familiarity with wealth management industry standards and best practices.
