India & Mexico Enterprise & Functions Strategy

team to drive US engagements—own staffing and project needs, boost delivery efficiency and quality, and deliver measurable client impact. Competency Overview: Enterprise & Functional Strategy

The Operations Strategy team works with clients across industries supporting engagements -
  • Developing enterprise and functional strategy (operating model, supply chain, manufacturing & service operations) in partnership with C-suite executives
  • Conducting operations due diligence to assess process and technology landscapes and create POVs
  • Advising clients on transformation—operating model redesign, network optimization, S&OP/planning, logistics, inventory, sourcing & procurement
  • Developing future state strategies for Operations driven digital transformation (analytics, automation, GenAI)
  • Strategy & portfolio leadership
    • Prioritize demand, allocate staffing, and manage project requirements
    • Support US leadership to build and manage Operations strategy account pipeline
  • Delivery & quality
    • Orchestrate multi workstream programs, remove roadblocks, and ensure client ready outputs
    • Enforce standards, reviews, and risk controls
  • Growth & capability
    • Develop people and playbooks, incubate new solutions, and establish relevant multi-skilling
    • Support business growth through proposals and thought leadership

Core responsibilities of Senior Manager would entail (but not limited to)

Responsibilities

As part of the team, you'll collaborate with experienced consultants and industry professionals to help clients address complex business challenges. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Own the book of work across India & Mexico hubs; set vision, staffing strategy, and delivery standards for ops strategy projects
  • Project delivery: help teams shape hypotheses, structure analyses, pressure-test insights, and craft C‑suite-ready narratives
  • Quality & risk: institute rigorous review cycles, uphold independence and compliance, and resolve issues/escalations promptly
  • People leadership: build, coach, and sponsor managers and senior associates; drive skill uplift (analytics, digital ops, sourcing, S&OP, network design)
  • Client development: contribute to pursuits, POVs, and solution assets; cultivate executive relationships with measurable pipeline impact
  • Global teaming: synchronize delivery with US Partners/Directors and the Mexico pod; ensure reuse of frameworks, accelerators, and data models
  • Operations excellence: mature methodologies (assessment frameworks, diagnostic tools, benchmarks) and drive continuous improvement

  • Lead India & Mexico delivery hubs, translating US engagement expectations into multi-pod workplans and quality reviews
  • Orchestrate multiple programs and multi-workstream engagements from planning through benefits realization, aligned to client objectives and PwC standards
  • Connect complex enterprise systems and value chains; identify cross-functional interdependencies and risks
  • Apply advanced analytical and critical thinking to shape operations strategy and transformation roadmaps; steer value-tracking and benefits realization
  • Build and challenge data-driven business cases; prioritize initiatives and investment trade-offs with executives
  • Serve as trusted advisor to Partners and client senior stakeholders across time zones; influence outcomes and resolve complex issues
  • Develop leaders: coach pod owners/managers and senior associates; build succession pipelines and upskill teams
  • Uphold and enforce professional/technical standards, risk management, independence, and PwC values of integrity and inclusion

Eligibility criteria

  • MBA from a premier B-School
  • 8–12+ years total experience with 8+ years in operations/supply chain strategy or performance improvement; 3–5 years leading consulting teams
  • Proven leadership across multi‑country delivery (India/Mexico or similar) and complex, multi‑workstream programs
  • Advanced problem solving, executive communication, and stakeholder management; strong financial acumen (business cases, value tracking)
