Position Overview

HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Policy Implementation

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, processes, and documentation.
  • Oversee onboarding, employee records, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit formalities.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain an HRMS/employee database for all departments (Sales, Projects, Admin, etc.).

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Partner with department heads to define hiring needs across business functions.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer roll-out.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, headhunting, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Collaborate with recruitment partners and ensure timely fulfillment of hiring targets.
  • Leverage digital and professional platforms to attract quality candidates.

3. Payroll Management

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including attendance integration and final settlements.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts team for salary disbursement and reimbursements.
  • Ensure accuracy in statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax, etc.).
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure timely processing of salaries each month.
  • Prepare payroll MIS reports and support compensation structuring.

4. Statutory Compliance & HR Administration

  • Ensure full statutory compliance under all relevant labour laws.
  • Maintain statutory registers, documentation, and manage HR-related audits/inspections.
  • Oversee timely renewals of company registrations and licences.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Design and implement engagement and welfare initiatives to strengthen company culture.
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues professionally.
  • Conduct regular employee meetings and feedback surveys.
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven work environment.

6. Performance Management & Training

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in goal-setting, KPI tracking, and performance evaluation.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
  • Prepare HR analytics and reports on employee performance, attrition, and headcount.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 7–9 years of proven HR experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software tools.
  • Ability to independently establish and manage HR processes in a growing organization.
