The ideal candidate should be proficient in PostgreSQL, AWS-RDS, and database performance tuning. Experience with replication, partitioning, and automation is highly desirable. Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage production database servers, ensuring availability and reliability.Work extensively with PostgreSQL and AWS-RDS.Monitor databases and identify performance bottlenecks and issues.Implement and manage database partitioning and replication strategies.Develop and maintain automated scripts/processes for regular DB tasks.Manage Primary/Secondary DB setups and ensure synchronization.Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support application and reporting needs. Required SkillsProven experience in PostgreSQL administration.Hands-on experience with AWS-RDS.Expertise in performance monitoring and tuning.Good understanding of database partitioning and replication techniques.Experience in database automation.Familiarity with setting up and managing Primary/Secondary DB sync.Strong SQL query writing skills. Nice to HaveExperience with MS-SQL.Exposure to Oracle database systems.
