Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Manager – Human Resources to lead the end-to-end HR function for our clients business, including both corporate and manufacturing operations. As the HR Head, the incumbent will be responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy aligned with business goals, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performance, value-driven culture.

This is a key leadership role requiring strong business partnership, proven HR leadership, and deep exposure to dynamic, fast-paced environments—preferably within the FMCG or FMCD sectors.


Specific duties and responsibilities


Strategic HR Leadership

ï‚· Partner with BU leadership to align HR strategy with business goals and long-term growth plans.

ï‚· Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and capability-building initiatives.

ï‚· Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters.


End-to-End Talent Management

ï‚· Lead recruitment and selection for all levels, including leadership hiring and succession planning.

ï‚· Drive employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives through industry outreach and campus programs.

ï‚· Own onboarding, retention, internal mobility, and career development frameworks.


Performance & Capability Building

ï‚· Design and implement performance management systems focused on meritocracy and business impact.

ï‚· Identify skill and competency gaps and deploy focused learning interventions across levels.


Manufacturing Unit HR

 Lead HR operations at the plant level – manage IR/ER issues and statutory compliance.

ï‚· Drive shopfloor engagement, productivity-linked programs, and workforce upskilling initiatives.

ï‚· Ensure alignment of plant HR practices with central HR policies and corporate objectives.


Employee Engagement & Culture

 Build a cohesive and inclusive culture that reflects the company’s values and business priorities.

ï‚· Design and execute structured engagement plans for both white-collar and blue-collar workforce.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Analytics

ï‚· Collaborate on C&B design, annual budgeting, and incentive structuring.

ï‚· Leverage HR data to drive people insights, monitor attrition, productivity, and policy effectiveness.


Compliance & Governance

ï‚· Ensure adherence to all labor laws, regulations, audits, and internal controls.

ï‚· Lead implementation of best-in-class HR systems, SOPs, and digital tools.


1. Candidate Profile

Minimum education and/or experience required.


2. Job-Specific Competencies

Experience: 12–15 years of well-rounded HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably

overseeing both corporate and manufacturing HR).

Industry Exposure: Strong background in FMCG/FMCD organizations with exposure to high-growth, people-intensive environments.


Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources


Technical Competencies:

ï‚· Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, GreytHR, or similar

tools.

ï‚· Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Behavioural Competencies:

ï‚· Strategic thinker with high execution capability.

ï‚· Strong leadership presence and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.

ï‚· Deep understanding of manufacturing HR, IR/ER dynamics, and compliance frameworks.

ï‚· Collaborative, agile, and process-oriented approach.
