We are looking to hire a capable and driven Regional Manager – Credit & Monitoring who will work closely with our senior leadership team to lead appraisal memo preparation, conduct credit evaluations and financial analysis, monitor live accounts on a monthly basis, and update overall portfolio-level data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit Evaluation:

• Conduct initial assessment of proposals, including identification of key risks and De-duplication checks.

• Evaluate internal ratings, prepare term sheets, and draft sanction letters.

• Prepare detailed credit appraisal memos, financial models, IRR calculations, and financial analyses.

• Summarize key legal documents associated with proposals for internal review.

• Support OEM and asset assessments to ensure sound credit decisions.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data presented for decision-making.

Monitoring:

• Maintain and regularly update portfolio-level master data.

• Follow up with clients for monthly data submissions and analyze performance against projections.

• Prepare and circulate monthly MIS reports for management review.

• Identify early warning signals and potential weaknesses in ongoing cases.

• Develop presentations for monthly investor reviews, board meetings, and other strategic forums.

• Perform additional monitoring and reporting tasks as required by the role.

Compliances and Documentation:

• Track and follow up on post-sanction conditions with clients.
• Review proposal documentation to ensure adherence to approved checklists.
• Prepare MIS reports to review compliance status and management oversight.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Audit Management:

• Coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to facilitate audit processes and timely address audit findings.
• Implement recommendations and corrective actions to improve audit processes and compliance practices.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE :

• Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• 8 – 12 years of experience in Credit Underwriting / Risk Management / Credit Monitoring for a Bank / NBFC / Leasing form / an investment firm/ Energy/ Renewable sectors.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit analysis, portfolio monitoring and Early Warning Signs (EWS) for Corporate Finance / Project Finance / Asset Finance
• Preferably from Corporate Finance / Project Finance / Asset Finance domains.

COMPETENCIES :

• Strong knowledge of credit underwriting / monitoring in BFSI industry
• Proficiency in financial analysis and financial modelling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate information effectively to stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality performance.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a small but growing team in a start-up style / dynamic environment.
• An understanding of the electric mobility eco-system in India would be advantageous.
