Regional Credit Manager

As a Regional Manager in the Credit and Operations department, your role will involve managing the regional credit function for Home Loans and Loan against Property. You will be responsible for delivering credit assessments while ensuring compliance with TAT, policies, and procedures as per NHB guidance. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing the regional credit function to maintain department organizational structure and succession planning - Overseeing the full function of the Credit Vetting Department - Training, up-skilling, motivating, retaining, and recruiting staff - Measuring department performance with appropriate metrics - Managing relations with Credit Reporting and Fraud agencies Your principal accountabilities will include: - Establishing and managing the credit function using decentralized assessment and centralized decision-making - Ensuring sensible credit norms for a high-quality portfolio - Assessing credit lending proposals from credit and risk perspectives based on institutionalized processes - Coordinating with MOG and other support functions for operational effectiveness - Monitoring and highlighting MIS for better business understanding - Working towards skill enhancement and team building Qualifications required for this role include: - Educational Qualification: CA/CWA or MBA/PGDM in Finance - Experience: 8-12 years in Asset Credit, Risk Assessment, Credit Operations, and Credit underwriting, preferably in the Banking & NBFC industry - Specific Skills: High level of professionalism, passion for building relationships, ability to gather feedback and provide innovative insight, thorough understanding of the National Credit Act, and experience in running a Call Centre successfully.,
