Project Delivery Manager


Key Responsibilities:


  • End-to-End Project Delivery

    : Oversee the delivery of multiple complex projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and on-budget execution. Track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful project completion.
  • Project Governance

    : Implement robust project management processes, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with business objectives. Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budget forecasts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    : Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, etc.) to ensure that project requirements are understood, and that execution is seamless across departments.
  • Risk & Issue Management

    : Proactively identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Team Leadership

    : Mentor and lead a team of project managers and delivery professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Guide team members through complex project challenges while helping them develop their skills.
  • Presales Expertise

    : Act as the primary point of contact between the sales and delivery teams during the presales phase. Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, scope, and goals, translating these into feasible project plans.
  • Proposal Development

    : Lead the end-to-end development of proposals, including the preparation of technical solutions, timelines, and resource plans. Ensure the proposed solution aligns with the client’s business objectives and addresses key pain points.
  • Solution Design & Estimation

    : Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet customer requirements. Provide accurate resource and cost estimations, ensuring that proposals are both competitive and feasible.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    : Engage with clients during the presales process to gather business requirements and technical specifications. Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proposal Presentation

    : Lead the presentation of proposals to clients, providing clear, concise, and compelling explanations of the proposed solutions. Address client questions and concerns, adjusting the proposal as needed based on feedback.
  • Contract Negotiations

    : Support contract negotiations with a focus on scope, timelines, and pricing, ensuring that both the client’s needs and the company’s capabilities are effectively balanced.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience

    : 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or senior role within a PMO or delivery management environment. Experience with presales and proposal management is essential.
  • Delivery Management

    : Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Strong experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
  • Presales & Proposal Management

    : Strong experience in developing and managing proposals end-to-end. Ability to work with sales teams to understand customer requirements, design solutions, and create persuasive proposals that meet business objectives.
  • Solution Design & Estimation

    : Experience in estimating project costs, resources, and timelines for presales proposals. Familiarity with financial modelling and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Project Governance

    : Expertise in establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks, monitoring progress, and managing risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leadership & Team Management

    : Ability to lead and mentor a team of project managers and delivery professionals. Proven experience building and nurturing high-performing teams.
  • Communication

    : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong proposal writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer Engagement

    : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and gain trust from key customer stakeholders. Experience in managing customer expectations and facilitating discussions during the presales phase.
  • Technology & Tools

    : Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project), CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and proposal management software.
