Job Description

As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will need to effectively manage resources, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations while driving continuous improvement in delivery processes. Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. It will be crucial for you to create and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals, monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships. It will be essential to ensure adherence to quality standards, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements. You will facilitate communication between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, conduct post-project reviews, and implement lessons learned for process improvement. Your role will also involve driving operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field (Masters preferred). You should have proven experience in project delivery or program management, preferably in a specific industry such as IT services, construction, or manufacturing. Strong leadership, decision-making, team management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Jira, Trello, and Asana is required. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, and PMP certification would be advantageous. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines are also key requirements. In addition to technical skills, key competencies for this role include strategic thinking and planning, attention to detail, quality orientation, adaptability to changing priorities, collaboration, conflict resolution skills, and a results-driven mindset.
