Project Delivery Manager

As an experienced Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of software development projects. Your background in project management, stakeholder communication, team coordination, and Agile methodologies will be crucial for this role. Your main tasks will include managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, taking ownership with accountability, and maintaining high-quality standards aligned with business objectives. You will be expected to oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that scope, timelines, and budgets are met. Collaborating with clients and internal teams, you will define project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Monitoring project progress, addressing risks, and ensuring adherence to Agile, Scrum, or other relevant methodologies are key aspects of this role. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will manage their expectations, provide regular updates on project progress, and address any escalations or conflicts to maintain strong relationships. Additionally, you will collaborate with development teams, product managers, QA, and other departments to ensure smooth execution, assign tasks, track performance, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Your role will also involve ensuring high-quality deliverables by enforcing best practices in software development, identifying areas for process optimization, and implementing improvements. Post-project reviews and documentation of lessons learned will be essential in this process. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in software development project delivery, a strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and project management methodologies, and experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. Strong client-facing skills, excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are required. A technical background in software development and certifications like PMP, CSM, or relevant qualifications will be advantageous.
