Responsibilities - This position reports to Chief Financial Officer

●     Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and revenue recognition

●     Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP

●     Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and safeguard assets

●     Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors

●     Lead the monthly close process and ensure all reconciliations and journal entries are completed accurately and timely

●     Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and healthcare regulatory requirements

●     Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A

●     Identify and implement process improvements, systems upgrades, and automation opportunities

●     Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team

●     Manage Lease Accounting

●     Manage Stock Comp Accounting 

Skills Required

●     Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred

●     7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role

●     Prior experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., provider, diagnostics, multisite, managed care) preferred, but not required

●     Strong knowledge of GAAP, healthcare billing and revenue cycle principles

●     Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct)

●     Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills

●     High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
