Min Experience: 2 yearsJobType: full-timeThe Marketing Automation Specialist will design, implement, and optimize automated marketing journeys that drive lead nurturing, product adoption, and long-term customer engagement. This role blends marketing strategy, data, and technology to ensure timely, personalized communication across the customer lifecycle.You will work closely with product, content, SEO, growth, and sales teams to convert traffic into qualified leads and engaged users through scalable, automated systems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Automation & Workflow Design

  • Design, build, and manage automated workflows across email, in-app, CRM, and lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Create lead nurturing journeys for prospects, trial users, and customers.
  • Automate onboarding, activation, retention, and re-engagement programs.

Campaign Execution

  • Execute automation-driven campaigns for:
    • Product onboarding and feature adoption
    • Lead nurturing and qualification
    • Content distribution and lead magnets
    • Product launches, updates, and announcements
  • Collaborate with product and content teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Tools & Platform Management

  • Own and manage marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, WebEngage, MoEngage, ActiveCampaign, Zoho, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Integrate automation tools with CRM systems, product analytics, and website forms.
  • Maintain data hygiene, segmentation logic, tagging frameworks, and automation rules.

Data, Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using metrics such as open rates, CTRs, conversions, activation, and retention.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, timing, and workflow logic.
  • Continuously optimize journeys based on performance insights and user behavior.

Segmentation & Personalization

  • Build advanced audience segments based on behavior, lifecycle stage, intent, and engagement signals.
  • Deliver personalized messaging using dynamic content and conditional logic.
  • Ensure compliance with opt-in requirements, data privacy standards, and marketing best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product managers to align automation with in-product flows and user milestones.
  • Support sales and client teams through lead scoring, qualification frameworks, and handoff processes.
  • Work with SEO and content teams to convert inbound traffic into nurtured and qualified leads.

What You'll Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or growth marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major marketing automation platform.
  • Strong understanding of funnels, user journeys, and lifecycle stages.
  • Experience building automated email and in-app campaigns.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance metrics.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and data hygiene principles.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in SaaS, AI, or B2B product environments.
  • Exposure to Product-Led Growth (PLG) models.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Basic understanding of APIs or webhooks.
  • Experience working across both product and services organizations
