About The Role
The HR Associate at Vcheck will be responsible for supporting our small but mighty HR team and rapidly growing office in India. Duties will include everything from HR administrative duties, onboarding/offboarding, compliance support, employee engagement, office management and more. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to supporting an office and HR operations in a fast-paced, fun, innovative tech environment.
What You'll Be Doing
HR and Culture
- Support the Sr. Manager of HR with managing our HRIS, Rippling, processing employee changes, onboarding and offboarding employees, and supporting the management of apps within the system (including the LMS, reviews, surveys, etc.). Ensure data accuracy within the system.
- Assist in generating and maintaining HR reports in Rippling.
- Assist in ensuring streamlined onboarding and offboarding of employees, including partnering with IT to ensure accounts are provisioned/deprovisioned in a timely manner, background checks are completed thoroughly and timely, employee questions are answered in a timely manner, appropriate paperwork is issued and completed, etc.
- Act as the Culture Crew lead, supporting event planning and execution, gift purchasing, crafting monthly recognition and benefits posts, etc.
- Act as an initial point of contact for employee questions by responding timely and with a customer service mindset to employee questions, directing them to the appropriate resources, and escalating, as necessary
- Support in ensuring compliance by responding to state and federal HR notices and emails and submitting required state and federally required reports
Office Management
- Own and manage all office inventory, ensuring the office is well equipped and maintained on a daily basis
- Manage all office vendor relationships and act as a point of contact between staff, management, and external parties
- Ensure office safety by working with the Sr. Manager of HR to create the appropriate safety plans
- Manage mail on a daily basis
- Track and manage office budgets and expenses
- Performs other duties as assigned
About You

- 1-3 years of experience in an HR operations or similar role
- Bachelor’s Degree, or 4+ years of experience in a HR capacity
- Proficiency in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience utilizing an HRIS and generating reports preferred
- Experience working in a progressive start-up environment a plus
- Strong planning, organizational, time management and project management skills
- High integrity and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to independently resolve issues and take appropriate action by exercising sound judgment
- Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
