Job Summary:
The HR & Admin Manager will lead and manage the full spectrum of human resource and
administrative functions, ensuring alignment with Watchdog’s vision and strategy. This role will
drive HR policies, workforce planning, compliance, employee experience, performance
management, and support the organization in institutionalizing best-in-class people practices and
governance structures across sites, regions, and the Head Office.
Education:
MBA-HR/ M.COM or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
HR Management::
• Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition for non-technical and technical roles related
to BMS, system integration, automation, and HVAC projects.
• Utilize portals such as Naukri, LinkedIn, and other ATS tools for sourcing and shortlisting
candidates.
• Implement systems for organization design, role clarity, and manpower budgeting.
• Lead capability development initiatives aligned to business verticals (Projects, AMC,
Design, Services).
• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain a solid pipeline of diverse, qualified candidates.
Payroll & Statutory Compliance:
• Design and implement HR and Admin policies Leave, Travel, Reimbursements, Payroll,
Code of Conduct, etc.).
• Manage payroll processing including salary, bonuses, gratuity, and statutory deductions
(EPF, ESI, TDS).
• Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, tax laws, and statutory regulations– PF, ESI,
Shops & Establishment, CLRA, POSH, etc.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
• Maintain HRIS systems and records management in line with audit standards.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and exit processes.
• Institutionalise performance management processes, including goal setting(KPIs),
performance reviews, and development plans.
• Design KRAs/KPIs with leadership team, organize performance reviews.
• Plan, schedule setup onsite and HO training and development processes to enhance
people knowledge and productivity.
• Administer employee benefits, gratuity, and incentives schemes aligned with
organizational policies.
• Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and conflict resolution mechanisms.
Administration & System Management:
• Oversee HR portals such as Naukri, payroll portals, and ATS systems for recruitment and
employee management.
• Integrate and optimize HR systems for efficient workflow and reporting.
• Manage office administration including security, vendor management, housekeeping,
transport, facility upkeep, AMC coordination.
• Handle licenses, lease renewals, insurance, fire safety, and civil compliance
requirements.
Policy & Process Development & Implementation:
• Develop, update, communicate & ensure adherence to HR policies in line with legal
requirements and industry standards.
• Create, update & review corporate travel expense, and other expenses reports.
• Design, develop, update and standardise key functional processes, documentation,
formats, worksheets, MIS, etc.
• Lead payroll processing, CTC structuring, salary reviews, TDS/ESIC/PF deductions.
Culture, Reporting, Review :
• Develop HR reports, statutory filings, and audit documentation related to payroll,
gratuity, bonus, and taxation for reporting and management review.
• Monitor HR dashboards and analytics for attrition, hiring, cost per hire, headcount, etc.
• Provide monthly HR reports and insights to top leadership.
• Anchor internal communication, townhalls, R\&R programs, and culture-building
campaigns, drive and analyse satisfaction surveys.
• Strengthen employer brand through digital and campus engagement efforts.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR & Admin experience, preferably in engineering, system
integration, or technical project organizations.
Preferred Attributes:
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, taxation, and payroll
processing.
• Proficient in MS Office, HRMS/ERP tools, and documentation: on practices
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance
