Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems Align HR strategy with organizational objectives Act as a strategic partner to management and department heads Build strong organizational culture and employee engagement 2. Recruitment & Manpower PlanningPlan and execute manpower requirements as per business needs Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all levels Coordinate with consultants and government hiring portals Ensure smooth onboarding and induction processes 3. Performance ManagementDesign and implement performance appraisal systems (KRA/KPI) Monitor employee performance and productivity Support management in promotions, increments, and confirmations Handle disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans (PIP) 4. Employee Relations & DisciplineMaintain healthy employee relations across the organization Address grievances, conflicts, and misconduct issues Ensure discipline, code of conduct, and ethical practices Handle terminations, warnings, and exit processes 5. Payroll, Compensation & BenefitsOversee payroll processing and salary structure design Ensure statutory deductions and timely salary disbursement Design compensation, incentives, and retention plans Coordinate with finance for payroll and budgeting 6. Statutory Compliance & Labor LawsEnsure compliance with all applicable labor laws: Factory Act PF, ESIC, Gratuity Minimum Wages Act Contract Labour Act Shops & Establishment Act Liaison with labor department and statutory authorities Handle audits, inspections, and legal cases 7. Training & DevelopmentIdentify training needs and skill gaps Conduct induction and internal training programs Develop leadership and behavioral training initiatives Promote continuous learning culture 8. HR Operations & AdministrationMaintain employee records and HR MIS Implement HRMS and digital attendance systems Monitor attendance, leave, and shift policies Support administration activities as required 9. Policy, Documentation & GovernanceDraft HR handbook, SOPs, appointment letters, policies Ensure compliance with company rules and procedures Maintain confidentiality and data security 10. Exit ManagementConduct exit interviews and analyze attrition Ensure full & final settlement Implement retention strategies based on exit feedback Education & ExperienceMBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent 10–18 years of HR experience Minimum 4–6 years in a senior HR leadership role Manufacturing industry experience preferred Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and decision-making skills In-depth knowledge of labor laws & compliance Excellent communication & negotiation skills Conflict resolution & employee counseling skills Strategic thinking & analytical ability HRMS & ERP knowledge Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Attrition rate Time-to-hire Compliance audit results Employee engagement score Payroll accuracy Training effectiveness
