Your Mission


As the CHRO at Flipspaces, you will be the architect of our people strategy, culture, and compliance infrastructure, building from startup roots into a scalable, globally compliant, and high-performing organization. Your primary mandate will include governance-heavy HR practices (ESOPs, ESG, Compliances) alongside elevating the employee experience across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.


You will partner directly with founders and the leadership team to create a future-ready workplace that balances scale with soul, growth with governance, and vision with values.


What You'll Do:


Culture, Learning & Engagement


  • Foster a high-ownership, agile, and psychologically safe workplace.
  • Launch org-wide initiatives for L&D, onboarding, functional upskilling, and leadership development.
  • Spearhead employee satisfaction, Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification, and internal NPS.
  • Set up feedback loops like 30-60-90 day reviews, pulse surveys, and exit interviews.


Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning


  • Drive end-to-end hiring across functions, geographies, and verticals in line with the AOP.
  • Set up data-driven recruitment systems, TA dashboards, ATS, and referral programs.
  • Champion the employer brand in domestic and international markets.
  • Lead senior & leadership hiring to build a high-caliber management team aligned with business goals.


Compliance, ESG & Governance


  • Lead ESG initiatives in alignment with company values and investor expectations - track, measure, and report on ESG metrics.
  • Drive HR due diligence for fundraising, investor requirements and M&A..
  • Own all regulatory compliance including labour laws (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments), POSH, audits, and statutory filings.
  • Set up robust frameworks for HR governance, grievance redressal, policy standardization, and documentation across all geographies.


Compensation, Rewards & ESOPs


  • Structure market-aligned compensation, including fixed pay, variable bonuses, long-term incentives, & ESOPs.
  • Design ESOP frameworks that align with business goals and employee retention.
  • Link rewards directly to performance metrics, business outcomes, and cultural contribution.


People Strategy & Org Design.


  • Collaborate with the CEO to define org design and resourcing strategy.
  • Build scalable systems for OKRs, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Lead org-wide talent reviews and leadership capability mapping.


People Operations & Automation


  • Digitize processes across HR ops - onboarding, leave, attendance, payroll, etc.
  • Build dashboards to track metrics like TAT, attrition, engagement, and productivity.
  • Deploy HR tech solutions to streamline workflows across India and global teams.


HR Team Leadership


  • Build and mentor a high-performing HR team across Talent Acquisition, HRBP, L&D, Ops, and Engagement.
  • Embed a culture of agility, ownership, and continuous improvement across the HR function.


You Bring


  • 12 - 15 years of experience in strategic HR leadership roles.
  • Proven track record managing HR for organizations with 500+ employees across geographies.
  • Experience in driving ESG, audit, compliance, ESOP structuring, Great Place to Work initiatives.
  • Strong pedigree in designing and executing quality hiring, OKRs, process digitization, and culture transformation.
  • Deep expertise in automation tools, HR analytics, and data-backed decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership, people mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Tier-1 institute background (IIMs, XLRI, or equivalent) preferred.
