Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, supporting the establishment and growth of diverse teams in India.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across functions, ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on organizational design, talent acquisition, and workforce planning for new and existing business lines.
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Support all HR operations, ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws and global HR policies.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR processes tailored for a multinational environment in Bangalore.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and proactively manage risk related to employment practices.
  • Transformation & Change Management
  • Lead transformational HR initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Drive change management efforts, fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion a growth mindset and encourage openness to learning across the organization.
  • Global Initiatives & Collaboration
  • Support and implement global HR initiatives, ensuring local adaptation and effective execution.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with HR colleagues and cross-functional teams both within India and globally.
  • Employee Engagement, Culture & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Design and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace experience.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values.
  • Measure and improve organizational effectiveness through data-driven HR practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in HR leadership roles within global capability centres or multinational organizations, preferably in the health insurance or related sectors.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labour law, HR compliance, and best practices for multinationals operating in Bangalore.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Track record of leading transformational HR projects and driving organizational change.
  • Strong business acumen, collaborative mindset, and ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
