Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 5 -10years

Mandatory skills: Java, selenium, rest assured

Required Skills :

1. Proven experience in automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, etc.).

2. Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts. In depth knowledge of software testing concepts, including test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting

3. Strong understanding of software development methodologies/development lifecycle, especially Agile.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose software defects.

5. Ability to retrieve logs and read SOAP UI XML/JSON requests and responses. Must be familiar with tools such as POSTMAN and JIRA, XRAY in Agile.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain test plan and test cases for various software applications and systems.

• Collaborate with developers, POs, stakeholders to understand requirement and create comprehensive test plans.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance.

• Analyze test results, identify defect and report issues to the development team for timely resolution.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, identifying areas for test case execution optimization to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in testing tools, technologies, and best practices.

• Provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

• Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.

• Develop and execute automated regression tests to validate software changes and ensure existing functionality remains intact.

• Validate test data effectively, ensuring its relevance and accuracy for different test scenarios.
