Head of Business Development

with 3-5 years of experience to drive revenue growth and expand our technology solutions portfolio. In this leadership role, you will identify high-value opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence. The ideal candidate is a proactive business leader with a strong track record in B2B technology sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation in IT solutions. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify emerging IT trends (cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, SaaS) and uncover potential clients across industries such as finance, healthcare, and e-commerce.
  • Lead Generation & Growth: Design and execute lead generation strategies including outreach, networking, webinars, and digital campaigns to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and manage alliances with IT vendors, resellers, and channel partners to co-develop value propositions and expand market penetration.
  • Sales Strategy Leadership: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored pitches, proposals, and contracts that align with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Client Engagement: Nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders, negotiate high-value deals, and drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
  • Performance Oversight: Track KPIs such as revenue targets, conversion metrics, and ROI; prepare executive-level reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to the overall business development roadmap, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in business development, sales, or account management within IT/technology (e.g., software, SaaS, or consulting). Proven record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals in B2B settings.
  • Technical & Commercial Skills: Strong knowledge of IT products/services (ERP, CRM, cloud infrastructure). Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office. Ability to leverage data and analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Soft Skills: Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable with excellent communication, negotiation, and networking capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (CSP, ITIL, AWS/Google Cloud sales credentials).
  • Experience in specialized IT niches such as fintech, SaaS, or digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Analytics, or market intelligence tools (e.g., Gartner).
