Job Description

The General Manager Sales & Marketing will have overall responsibility for the leadership, strategy, and execution of the entire sales and marketing function at Shubh Packaging's upcoming packaging plant in Udaipur. This senior role demands strategic direction for business growth, market expansion, and brand positioning, focusing on delivering premium quality packaging products to global corporate clients. The GM will lead cross-functional teams, develop high-impact sales and marketing plans, and ensure operational excellence to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and market share growth targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including forging strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales and marketing teams to ensure high performance, goal achievement, and professional development.
  • Oversee sales operations including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure product standards meet client expectations and compliance requirements.
  • Drive brand awareness and market positioning through innovative marketing campaigns and corporate communications.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to secure long-term business.
  • Ensure seamless coordination across departments to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies proactively.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales and marketing reports and metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or general manager capacity, preferably in the packaging or related manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth, market expansion, and building effective sales teams.
  • Strong business acumen, leadership skills, and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM, data analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.
