Job Description We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes necessary to support our software development and delivery pipeline. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to streamline our development processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of software applications. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure resources in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for container deployment, scaling, and management. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability, and implement proactive measures to identify and address potential issues. Collaborate with software development teams to automate manual processes, improve deployment workflows, and increase release velocity. Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of system issues. Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance requirements for infrastructure and applications. Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and provide timely resolution. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, automation, and related technologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development and deployment processes. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Strong understanding of networking, security, and scalability principles. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator). Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Knowledge of database technologies and SQL/NoSQL databases. Experience with agile methodologies and agile development practices.
