Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Assistant Manager - Projects
to oversee and coordinate various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management principles. The person will be responsible for defining project scope, setting objectives, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, installation, and commissioning of AC electrical systems for solar projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Develop detailed work plans and schedules to optimize resources and meet project deadlines.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and support for the design and installation of AC electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project implementation.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and mentor electrical technicians and junior team members.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to promote team cohesion and productivity.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including installation progress, inspections, and testing results.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal and client review.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized and readily accessible for audits and future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in AC electrical systems design and installation, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, IEEE, etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
