Location: Mumbai (with occasional travel to subsidiary locations)Reporting To: General Manager Business SolutioningRole SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned, tech-savvy Manager – Digital Transformation to lead and execute high-impact digital initiatives across multiple group companies. The ideal candidate brings experience in digital transformation, process automation, and technology enablement, particularly within large, complex business environments such as manufacturing, EPC, or diversified conglomerates. The role demands strong business acumen, knack to identify and implement digital use cases to enhance business performance, a hands-on approach to technology implementation, and the ability to influence across functional and hierarchical boundaries.Key Responsibilities
- Functional & Domain-Specific Digital Transformation
- Lead digital transformation programs across business functions such as : Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Audit, Taxation, Legal, etc.
- Devise the overall digital transformation roadmap for a company/ function based on user needs, industry benchmarking, discussion with experts and vendors
- Identify, solutionise and implement Use cases leveraging AI ML / Gen AI solutions for various business scenarios
- Drive automation of core business processes leveraging RPA, low-code/no-code and enterprise platforms
- Evaluate and digitize business-critical workflows to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and user experience across functions.
- Program Execution & Change Enablement
- Manage large-scale digital program portfolios with structured methodologies from concept to implementation
- Devise fit-for-purpose technology deployment strategy for identified use cases e.g., make vs. buy, technology vendor(s) to leverage
- Define business cases, project charters, ROI metrics, and drive stakeholder alignment across CXO, functional, and Digital teams.
Define, manage and execute scorecards for various interventions / businesses for internal and external benchmarking
- Technical Enablement & User Adoption
- Spearhead technical enablement for internal users through bootcamps, digital capability-building sessions, and e-learning modules.
- Track adoption metrics via tools like Power BI and drive interventions to bridge digital usage gaps.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure secure, scalable integration of platforms like Azure, SharePoint Online, and Copilot Studio.
- External Partnerships & Innovation Scouting
- Engage with technology vendors/startups to co-create solutions using AI, IoT, and data engineering.
- Lead pilot evaluations and MVPs before full-scale deployment; manage vendor contracts, POCs, and transition to BAU.
- Cross-Company Implementation
- Act as a central transformation anchor across companies, ensuring tailored yet standardised implementations.
- Lead governance cadences, document success stories, and foster a culture of innovation across business units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; MBA or equivalent preferred.
5-7 years of relevant experience in digital transformation, ideally within diversified industries or consulting.Skills & Competencies
