Position Summary
NxtWave is seeking a
visionary Vice President of Sales (Offline Expansion)
to lead and scale our
offline edtech growth initiatives
under NIAT.This leadership role is crucial in bringing NxtWave’s programs beyond the digital space—driving our physical presence through institutional partnerships, regional networks, and local market penetration.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
offline sales strategy
, a strong understanding of the
Indian education ecosystem
, and a proven track record of
building and leading large sales networks

Key Responsibilities
- Offline Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive offline sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify target regions and expansion opportunities to establish a strong physical presence.
- Set clear growth metrics, sales targets, and operational benchmarks for regional markets.
- Channel Development & Partnerships
- Build and manage partnerships with educational institutions, coaching centers, and retail networks.
- Drive business through multi-channel models, ensuring scalability and sustainability.
- Establish a framework for channel performance tracking, incentives, and compliance.
- Market Penetration & Regional Expansion
- Develop tailored go-to-market strategies for diverse geographies across India.
- Analyze regional trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform expansion decisions.
- Ensure consistent execution and brand presence across all physical locations.
- Customer Engagement & Acquisition
- Design and implement localized marketing and sales campaigns to drive awareness and enrollment.
- Engage with students, parents, and institutional stakeholders to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing offline sales team across multiple regions.
- Drive a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous performance improvement.
- Establish robust performance monitoring systems and growth paths for the sales force.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee logistics, inventory, and infrastructure setup for new offline centers.
- Ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
- Brand Building & Market Presence
- Enhance NxtWave’s brand visibility through events, partnerships, and community outreach.
- Ensure alignment between offline initiatives and overall brand narrative.
- Financial Discipline
- Maintain a frugal and resource-optimized approach to offline growth.
- Track ROI, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effectiveness in all initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- 10+ years in Sales or Business Development, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles focused on offline expansion.
- Experience in EdTech, Education, FMCG, or Retail sectors preferred.
- Proven success in building and scaling offline networks across geographies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of the Indian education and retail landscape.
- Data-driven, with proficiency in using sales analytics tools.
