Vice President Indirect spend

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Define and implement

  global indirect sourcing strategy

  aligned to business objectives and cost-reduction targets.
• Drive

  procurement transformation

  process standardization, automation, and centralization across plants and geographies.
• Lead annual

  budgeting, cost control, and savings initiatives

  across indirect categories.

Category & Supplier Management

• Oversee sourcing for

  MRO, IT/telecom, marketing, logistics, facilities, utilities, HR services, consulting, travel, and professional services

  .
• Develop and manage

  supplier segmentation, consolidation, and development programs

  .
• Establish

  robust SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)

  processes to ensure innovation, service quality, and compliance.

Commercial & Contract Governance

• Lead

  contract negotiations

  for high-value services and framework agreements.
• Ensure

  contract lifecycle management (CLM)

  and governance practices are adhered to across all business units.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams for

  risk mitigation and audit readiness

  .

Digital & Process Excellence

• Champion

  digital procurement tools

  (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.) to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Implement

  data-driven spend analytics

  , dashboards, and KPIs for performance monitoring.
• Promote

  Lean / Six Sigma methodologies

  to enhance procurement productivity and reduce turnaround times.

Stakeholder & People Leadership

• Partner with senior leadership across

  Finance, Operations, Engineering, and HR

  to align spend strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing

  procurement team

  spread across regions.
• Drive

  change management

  , fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

ESG, Compliance & Sustainability

• Integrate

  sustainability and ESG goals

  into sourcing decisions.
• Ensure

  supplier compliance

  with safety, ethics, and environmental standards.
