Job Description

Job Description: A Purchase Officer or Buyer having Supplier Management, Order Processing, Tracking delivery of goods, Procurement Record Keeping, Administrative Support, Problem Solving, Compliance. Basically, fulfilling Procurement requirement for Infra Project & their service & construction line.

Role and Responsibilities

Order processing: Receive and review purchase requisitions from other departments and process purchase orders accurately.
Supplier research: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and compare product prices, specifications, and delivery options.
Negotiations: Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to obtain the best possible deals.
Inventory management: Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure adequate inventory without overstocking.
Delivery tracking: Track orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Resolve any issues with delayed or incorrect shipments.
Record-keeping: Maintain updated and accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in internal databases.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualification and Experience: A bachelors degree in a relevant field like business, logistics, or supply chain management is often required with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
Negotiation, Communication & Analytical Skills.
He /She should have technical skills like MS Office & any ERP Exposure will be added advantage.
