Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and analytical
Senior Sourcing Analyst
to drive data-led decision-making and operational excellence across our Sourcing function. This hybrid role balances day-to-day procurement execution with strategic initiatives that enable more effective sourcing, supplier management, and process optimization.The ideal candidate is not only detail-oriented and highly organized but also skilled at uncovering insights from data, collaborating across teams, and identifying opportunities to deliver greater commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement Enablement
- Partner with Group and Divisional Procurement teams to assess sourcing opportunities that drive broader business value—e.g., supplier consolidation, category optimization, and improved vendor leverage across divisions.
- Contribute to sourcing strategies by delivering market research, supplier evaluations, and insights that inform decision-making and enhance competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand category requirements and align sourcing approaches accordingly.
Operational Procurement Execution
- Support day-to-day procurement activities including tactical purchases, RFx coordination, quote negotiations, and order management.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and competitive quotes, maintain delivery schedules, and manage procurement documentation.
- Assist in supplier onboarding, due diligence, and performance evaluation processes.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze procurement and supplier data to support sourcing strategy and category management.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to monitor performance, track savings, and identify trends.
- Provide actionable insights that help drive sourcing decisions, improve procurement processes, and deliver measurable value.
Process & Capability Development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing tools, templates, and methodologies including tender documentation, evaluation frameworks, and contracting resources.
- Help standardize and enhance reporting practices across procurement teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Identify ways to better leverage procurement technologies and systems to drive efficiency and scalability.
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
- 5-8 years of sourcing or procurement experience , ideally in a global or matrixed organization.
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large data sets and distill insights that influence sourcing strategies.
- Strong Excel capabilities (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas); experience with Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and present data in a compelling way.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on understanding and meeting business needs.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail, results focus, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working across different time zones and in a virtual team environment.
