Objective
To support data-driven pricing decisions and enhance profitability across products, regions, and business units through analytical insights and pricing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Analysis Optimization :
- Analyze pricing, cost, and margin trends across multiple products, regions, and channels.
- Identify opportunities for price optimization and margin improvement.
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed pricing changes or promotional strategies.
- Incorporate competitive benchmarking and market insight to pricing decisions.
Data Management Automation
- Build, maintain, and enhance pricing dashboards using Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).
- Automate recurring reports and pricing models to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop SQL/Python scripts to extract, clean, and transform large datasets for analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all pricing-related data sources.
Business Support Strategy
- Partner with product managers, finance, and sales teams to develop business cases for list price and discount strategy changes.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to guide pricing decisions and promotional strategies.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of new pricing policies.
- Track performance metrics (e.g., revenue impact, elasticity, margin contribution) post-implementation.
Reporting Insights
- Generate insightful reports and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.
- Present recommendations and findings in a concise, executive-friendly manner.
Key Skills Competencies
Analytical Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau).
- Experience with statistical or data analysis techniques (e.g., regression, elasticity modeling).
- Solid understanding of commercial pricing frameworks, elasticity models, and margin management.
Business Acumen
- Deep understanding of business drivers influencing pricing decisions.
- Ability to balance analytical rigor with practical business judgment.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in pricing analytics, revenue management, or business analytics roles.
- Experience working in a global or multi-regional business environment.
- Knowledge of pricing software/tools (e.g., PROS) is a plus.
