Senior Pricing Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Pricing Specialist to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in freight pricing, rate negotiations, and quotation management within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. This role requires excellent market knowledge, analytical ability, and the skill to provide competitive pricing solutions that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive pricing proposals for freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Negotiate rates with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and vendors to secure the best possible terms.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide tailored pricing solutions.
• Maintain updated records of freight rates, tariffs, and surcharges across multiple trade lanes.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop quotations and support business acquisition.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and market fluctuations to ensure competitiveness.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
• Support the development of pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 3–5 years in pricing, preferably within freight forwarding/logistics.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of international shipping, freight rates, trade lanes, and logistics operations.

Skills:

• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
