Job description Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive – Inside Sales Experience: Minimum 3+ years in inside sales, preferably within the banking/financial services or IT consulting sectors . Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Executive (Inside Sales) to spearhead lead generation and direct sales initiatives for Verinite’s services within the banking and financial services industry . The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the banking ecosystem, a passion for consultative selling, and a track record of exceeding targets. This is a client-facing role that demands experience in deal closure , relationship-building , and leading a team to drive measurable business growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: · Identify, generate, and nurture leads in the banking and financial services space via cold calls, emails, LinkedI outreach, and other outbound techniques. · Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand client needs and identify key decision-makers. · Create targeted strategies to engage with banks, fintechs , and financial institutions . · Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline for cards, payments, and digital transformation services . Direct Sales & Deal Closure: · Take ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle , including product positioning , negotiation , and closing deals . · Collaborate with internal stakeholders for proposal creation, pricing, and solution fitment to ensure timely closure. · Deliver compelling presentations and demos tailored to the needs of CXOs and other key decision-makers. Target Achievement: · Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings scheduled, and revenue closed. · Align personal and team sales efforts with Verinite’s strategic growth objectives . Team Leadership: · Lead a team of Inside Sales Executives by setting clear goals and KPIs. · Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and ensure target achievement. · Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture and conduct regular performance reviews. Client Relationship Management: · Engage with senior-level stakeholders (CXOs, VPs, Directors) to build trust and understand their strategic goals. · Maintain strong post-meeting follow-ups and ensure a smooth transition to senior sales or delivery teams. · Position Verinite’s capabilities as a trusted partner for digital transformation in banking. Collaboration & Strategy: · Work closely with marketing , sales , and pre-sales teams to execute outreach campaigns. · Provide market feedback to refine sales messaging and positioning. · Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Verinite’s go-to-market strategy. CRM & Reporting: · Accurately log all sales activities and client interactions in Zoho CRM . · Prepare and present regular dashboards to track KPIs such as lead conversion, pipeline health, and closure rates. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years in inside sales , direct sales , or business development , ideally in banking , financial services , or IT solutions . Sales Acumen: Proven ability in client acquisition , deal negotiation , and closing . Communication: Excellent spoken and written communication; able to confidently present to senior stakeholders. Tools: Proficient in CRMs (e.g., Zoho , Salesforce , HubSpot ) and sales productivity tools. Self-Starter: A motivated, target-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
