Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Planning & Strategy

  • Develop annual and quarterly business plans for Wholesale and Dealer Finance business lines.
  • Prepare volume, revenue, and margin projections in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities in automobile dealer financing.
  • Support management in budgeting, portfolio planning, and forecasting.

2. Sales Performance & Monitoring

  • Track regional and zonal sales performance against targets and identify gaps.
  • Design and implement MIS dashboards for management review.
  • Analyze dealer portfolio performance, including utilization, overdue trends, and yield optimization.
  • Coordinate with field sales teams to ensure effective implementation of business plans.

3. Product & Process Optimization

  • Work with the Product and Policy teams to enhance existing lending programs (e.g., Inventory Funding, Term Loans, Floor Funding).
  • Recommend process improvements to improve dealer onboarding, credit turnaround, and disbursement efficiency.
  • Evaluate dealer schemes and incentive programs for cost-effectiveness and impact.

4. Channel & Relationship Support

  • Liaise with OEMs, dealer networks, and internal stakeholders to drive channel engagement initiatives.
  • Support new dealer acquisition strategy and portfolio expansion in emerging markets.
  • Develop and track dealer-level ROI metrics and profitability models.

5. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to internal risk, compliance, and audit guidelines.
  • Monitor credit concentration, overdue exposure, and ensure data accuracy in system reports.
  • Support preparation of management and regulatory reports related to the dealer finance portfolio.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of automobile dealer financing, wholesale lending, and inventory funding models.
  • Proficiency in financial planning, data analytics, and MIS reporting.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate data insights into actionable business plans.
