Job Description

Sales Manager (Techno Commercial):

We are looking for a Techno-Commercial Sales Manager who can bridge the gap between technology, business needs, and customer value. This role requires someone who understands manufacturing processes, can engage deeply with shop-floor teams, identify customer pain points, and translate them into compelling product pitches and proposals.


You will work closely with prospects, customers, product teams, and leadership to drive solution fitment, value articulation, and revenue growth.


You’ll be in charge of:

Customer Engagement & Understanding

  • Visiting customer sites to understand their manufacturing lines, processes, KPIs, and pain points.
  • Conducting technical discovery discussions with plant managers, process engineers, and quality heads.
  • Mapping customer problems to Linecraft AI’s product capabilities and identifying high-value use cases.

Solutioning & Proposal Development

  • Translating process-level insights into solution architectures and ROI-driven proposals.
  • Creating custom proposals that include scope, timelines, commercial structure, and expected business impact.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams to design tailored solutions for unique customer requirements.

Pitching & Value Demonstration

  • Delivering product demos that resonate with manufacturing and operations teams.
  • Building strong techno-commercial arguments—quantifying value, explaining impact on throughput, downtime, and productivity.
  • Supporting proof-of-concept (POC) planning, execution, and communication with customers.

Sales Strategy & Pipeline

  • Identifying new opportunities, key accounts, and expansion possibilities across manufacturing segments.
  • Working with leadership to shape pricing models, deal structures, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Tracking sales metrics, forecasting revenue, and maintaining a healthy pipeline on CRM tools.
  • Plus! Although this position is primarily responsible for India sales, Linecrafts global reach provides an opportunity to work with Global sales organizations and customers!


More about you:

  • 5–10 years of experience in Techno-Commercial / Solution Sales / Industrial SaaS Sales.
  • You are a graduate in Engineering - Engineering discipline could be Electronics, Computers, Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (Assembly, Machining, etc.)
  • You have experience selling new technologies [starting with concept selling] to key industrial customers.
  • Prior experience selling Industrial IoT, MES, Automation, or Manufacturing Analytics solutions is a strong plus.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts and convert them into business value stories.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • You are willing to travel as required.


Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of OEE, cycle time studies, downtime analysis, or other productivity-focused KPIs.
  • Comfort with data, dashboards, and analytics-driven discussions.
  • You are a start-up enthusiast with a penchant for fast paced work environments.
