Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, result-driven Sales & Marketing Head who can lead from the front, build strong client relationships, and create measurable business growth. This role demands hands-on experience in driving sales cycles, designing marketing strategies, and delivering compelling product pitches. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive customer acquisition, brand expansion, and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Develop high-quality leads through targeted research, outbound strategies, networking, digital channels, and industry databases.
Sales Outreach: Execute structured outreach via emails, LinkedIn, calls, and events to convert leads into qualified opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Engage directly with decision-makers, understand their requirements, and position our offerings effectively.
Product Pitching & Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver high-impact product pitches, demos, and presentations customized to client needs.
Account Conversion: Own the entire sales lifecycle—from lead qualification to negotiation and deal closure.
Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain an accurate, updated sales pipeline using CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce/ZOHO) to forecast revenue.
Revenue Ownership: Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets with strategic planning and direct execution.
2. Marketing & Branding
Market Research: Analyze competitors, industry trends, and customer insights to refine offerings and identify new opportunities.
Content Marketing: Conceptualize and produce content such as blog articles, case studies, whitepapers, pitch decks, and brochures.
Social Media Strategy: Lead social media planning, posting calendars, and audience engagement to enhance brand presence.
Email Marketing: Design and execute email campaigns for nurturing, conversion, and customer engagement.
SEO & SEM Execution: Drive organic and unpaid/paid marketing initiatives across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms to generate leads.
Event Marketing: Plan and execute webinars, exhibitions, conferences, and community engagements to boost brand visibility.
3. Performance Analysis & Reporting
Sales Metrics & KPIs: Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and ROI; implement improvement strategies.
Marketing Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, and Ads Manager for campaign tracking and optimization.
Customer & Market Insights: Capture and analyze client feedback to refine sales and marketing strategies.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
Product Alignment: Work with the technical team to understand solutions deeply and translate them into compelling business value.
BD & Strategic Partnerships: Identify, initiate, and execute collaborations, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances.
Creative Coordination: Drive creation of marketing collateral with design/content teams to maintain a consistent brand identity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· MBA in Sales & Marketing with a technical foundation (B.Tech CS/IT or BCA).
· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Deep understanding of digital sales funnels, lead qualification, and customer acquisition.
· Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret campaign metrics and sales analytics.
· Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet aggressive targets.
Preferred Skills
· 8–10 years of experience in B2B/B2G tech environments or startup ecosystems.
· Knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and performance marketing strategies.
· Exposure to sales automation, AI-driven marketing tools, and growth hacking techniques.
· Understanding of UI/UX principles for website and digital campaign optimization.
· Experience in enterprise sales, government sales, tele-sales campaigns, or technical product pitching.
